Artist’s Statement

Francesca makes reference to Degas’ paintings of dancers. The figures are playfully dancing around the gypsy wagon, they are wearing dancer’s costumes, enjoying their freedom of life in front of a backdrop of stars in the night’s sky.

Francesca Owen is an award winning artist who trained at the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art in London and completed an MA at Falmouth University.

Francesca has worked with both UK and International galleries, exhibiting paintings and installation, giving talks and courses on landscape painting, pigments and dyes.

Francesca has exhibited work in SE Asia, London, Devon and Cornwall.

Please note that if you are an international customer then your delivery may be liable to import Duties and Taxes.
