Referencing wagons as a powerful symbol of freedom and perhaps romanticising a past way of living, in this painting a bow top wagon emerges out of the landscape, in a realm where it is both day and night. The two figures in the foreground are appearing from the wagon into a landscape where everything is magical and illuminated.
