"The former London Group president is a man seemingly in love with paint as both a substance and a subject. So oils are generously applied in a series of confident, purposeful strokes. Similarly, the colours are drawn from all corners of his palette, yet appear to sing in harmony and discord with one another across the course of the canvas."

Raft by Peter Clossick
Peter Clossick studied at Camberwell School of Art and Goldsmiths College during the early 1970s and has been engaged in professional fine art practice since. He is a member and Past President of The London Group an artist collective established in 1913 and also a member of The New English Art Club under the Federation of British Artists.
