Painted from about 2 miles away from home in Somerset, on the top of the hill before a drop off to the levels below. Always love the blues of the distance against the strong hot colours in the foreground. I'm continually inspired by those trees.

Tin’s work has its roots in the tradition of Constable and Turner, but is characterised by the handling of paint more recognisable in artists such as Auerbach, and Freud.
